Welcome to Earlybirds, read our story

Earlybirds was launched in Australia in November 2002, the catalyst being founder Lynda Day's son who was born ten weeks premature, weighing 3 pounds. During the first few months following her son's birth, Lynda experienced enormous difficulty trying to find clothes to fit her baby so she decided to develop the Earlybirds Sunnydays range. The Sunnydays range was launched in the USA in July 2003.

12 Months of Research and Development

As premature babies' needs are different, great care was been taken in selecting designs to ensure maximum comfort and ease of dressing. This involved 12 months of research with the assistance of Paediatricians, NICU specialists and parents of preemie babies. All garments are made from the highest quality natural and organic cotton which has been tested thoroughly to ensure maximum comfort for the baby. Earlybirds has INPAA (Infant Nursery Products Association of Australia) Accreditation.
